Shirley Younger is my Mom's second to oldest sister. She lost her battle to cancer about a year and a half after we opened. I am so thankful that she taught me how to make her famous chicken noodle soup and rival kouga before we lost her. She was my buddy and is missed more than my heart can say. I love to make her recipes, I feel like they keep her alive with me here at Lauer-Krauts. Oh yea, I also talk to her when I am preparing them hoping they will turn out as well as hers did. I love you Aunt Shirley.
